Northeast, Southwest, Southeast and Northwest - chances are if you're looking for a home in Bend, you've been asked what part of town you're looking in. Here's how to tell them all apart. Click here for a Bend, Oregon map.

Northwest: Close-in to downtown and location of: COCC/OSU Cascades Campus, Newport shops and services, Awbrey Butte, Shevlin Park, Northwest Crossing mixed-use community, Sawyer State Park, Awbrey Glen and River's Edge golf courses.

Southwest: A river runs through it! Close-in to downtown and location of: Old Mill District - shopping, services and professional offices, Les Schwab Amphitheater, Farewell Bend Park, Century Drive shops and services and Broken Top and Widgi Creek golf courses.

Southeast: Convenient to 3rd Street and location of: Outlet stores, shopping and services and Bend Golf & Country Club and Lost Tracks golf course.

Northeast: Convenient to Hwy. 20 and 3rd Street and location of: The Forum - shopping, services and restaurants, St. Charles Medical Center, Pilot Butte State Park, Big Sky Park and recreational facilities and Bend River Promenade mall.

It's important to know that the east/west divider is 3rd Street (or Business Hwy. 97). This is good to keep in mind as you search for the location of your new home.
